Voss is all about tradition, the superstars of skiing, and challenging and spectacular nature. Voss is a regional centre with a diverse menu of activities such as kayaking, rafting, MTB, climbing, kiting and of course skiing of all kinds.

Voss Resort consists of 40 km of alpine runs, ranging from comfortable slopes for beginners to demanding terrain for the very best with a vertical drop of 645 m., 12 ski lifts with a capacity of 12,000 skiers per hour, a secluded area for younger children, a ski school, ski rental, a snowboard park, cross country skiing and 700 free parking spaces.

There are also great opportunities for skiing in Voss in the Norwegian summer, as well as plenty of other activities to choose from.

Once a year Voss hosts a major sport and music festival which goes under the name
The Extreme Sport Week (Ekstremsportveko).
This fun-filled and action-packed event includes a variety of competitions.

The combination of extreme sports, music and the amazing nature in Western Norway make for a unique festival; and a popular one too, since this is its 11th year, and it is now the biggest of its kind.
